Mobile Water Services provide a range of water treatment technologies. They are pre-packaged on a trailer, skid or container for maximum mobility and responsiveness. Available as standard or modular systems they are pre-engineered with plug and play connections for ease of use.

Where will I be working?
You will be predominantly based at our site in Heinsberg with partial home working as an option. The role is responsible for projects across Germany, Nordics, Poland and the Benelux and will require travel to clients premises and other MWS depots.

What will I be doing?
Mobile Water Services operates a pan European team for the provision of mobile water treatment assets and services on a rental basis. Applications are mostly based upon provision of highly purified water to industrial and pharmaceutical customers, however wastewater and municipal applications can be treated on a case by case basis.

The role will report directly to the Mobile Water Services European Operations Director and will also work closely with the Mobile Water Services Technical Manager and Process Engineer as required.

The activities are centred around operational management of mobilisations and management of the commissioning team.

Responsibilities will include;

Mobilisation:

  • Ensuring that Mobile Water Services equipment is delivered to site in a timely manner.

 Ensuring that Customer’s site is ready to accept a mobile unit and if it is not to put in place the requirements to make a unit operational.

  • Ensuring that when a mobile asset arrives at site it is in a state of readiness and in an operable condition.
  • Ensuring that personnel are available to meet the unit on arrival to hook up and commission.
  • Ensuring that the unit runs according to requirements for the duration of the hire.
  • Ensuring the required service visits are made during the contract.
  • Ensuring that demobilisation is managed in a timely manner and that the customer’s site is left in the condition the customer expects.

Transport management:

  • To manage and maintain our relationship with a haulier:
  • Booking and managing transport events.
  • Making sure transport costs are kept under control and are competitive at all times.
  • Contract renewal or modification.
  • Contingency planning. 

Service management:

  • Ensuring that the chosen personnel are provided with the appropriate training and are competent to perform the tasks required.
  • Engaging the appropriate personnel at the start of a hire and for its duration.
  • Monitoring the service provided and ensuring that it meets our customers’ needs.
  • Maintaining a 24 hour response system in partnership with transport providers.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety procedures, policies and requirements are strictly adhered to at all times

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
  • Good understanding of electro-mechanical and C&I.
  • Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated with a can do attitude.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with both internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Capability to work across cultures, borders and different methods of executing business within an international team.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to understand others needs and express information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Confident decision maker.
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Application Suite and/or Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
